Christina Barkley received her BA in film and has written two feature length screenplays. One went so far as a table read organized by producer Fred Fontana with a lead role read by actress Liz Sheridan. After working in the entertainment industry for six years, first as a casting assistant and then a talent agent, God led Christina to make a complete career change. In 2012 she became a certified personal trainer and later, a certified nutrition coach. Inspired by training a diverse array of clients and people watching at the gym, she has fused her athletic and creative qualities to create a new genre- fitness fiction. She also writes non-fiction informative fitness articles which have been featured in the Revelation Wellness Blog. Christina is an active member of the American Christian Fitness Writers and has recently completed her first novel. She enjoys writing fictional fitness stories with dogged characters to inspire readers to grow spiritually while also improving their physical health.
